Have a purchased/registered copy of AVG for virus protection.
Been running it for a couple of months.

All of a sudden, I cannot access the "AVG Control Center" to change settings
or stop the automatic scanning that slows
down the system.

The message I get is:
"Access to AVG Control Center has been disallowed by the system
administrator."

This is a single usere XP system - had for over a year - and I have accessed
the "system administrator" options.

What's happened & how did it get changed? How do I fix it?

Thanks for any help. (Have not had luck getting help from AVG so far.)

Have you been messing around with sharing of folders recenlty? i.e. setting
up a Network and stopping other people/users accessing the drives?
