I want to do audit on user's internet browsing activities, how can I Disable
Delete Browsing History on IE7.

I do not want user to delete all the file saved in Temporary Internet File
folder.

I want to disable the Tools menu in IE7 as well. However; if user sign on
with administrator id, it can display.

Kane,
to run Group Policy management console:
Win+R || type GPEdit.msc in the box || OK button

Once there, you're looking for Administrative Templates in Computer and/or
User catagory.
Local Computer Policy || Computer Configuration || Administrative Templates
|| Windows Components || Internet Explorer || Internet Control Panel

and / or the same sequence except drill down on the User Configuration
branch.

Once there you will see that you can disable the various pages of the
Internet Control Panel. Between that and the multitude of options available
in the Security Page folder and the Advanced Page folder, you should be able
to configure as desired.

Happy drilling,

Hi;

thanks for your instruction. I found this setting. How can I set it to all
workstation or a group of workstation at one time instead of drop by to set
it one by one?

I am using Windows 2000 domain therefore I do not see the same setting in
W2K group policy.

Can you export it from my local computer and update it from a exported file
like registry file?

Kane,
I recommend talking to your domain administrator(s).
