For files in a folder under NTFS permissions settting. I can set to disallow
user to delete files after created. But How can I allow users to rename the
filename or I can't do that. Please advise. Thanks.

files - ( NTFS permissions entries :
a. User_A - full control
b. User_A - Apply onto this folder and files, checked deny:
"create sub-folders & files" and "delete"

Pleo, you only need delete permissions to rename folders (never
understood that one!!), not files. Read & Write permissions are enough
to rename a file.
