disabling read receipts corporate e-mail

How can I disable read receipts corporate e-mail from emails that I receive
in Outlook 2000 ? I only have the client program, and I found in tracking
option a place were I could do that, but it seems my user cannot change
because it's blocked to changes. It's a corporate e-mail and I only have user
access, not administrator.

Talk to your IT folks. Apparently they configured domain policies to
enforce handling of read receipts (which are probably configured in
Exchange to NOT handle or block read receipt requests in e-mails from
outside but they want them enabled inside their network). Your
company's policies say that read receipts must be acknowledged (i.e.,
you must send back a read receipt when an e-mail requests one). Again,
talk to your IT folks as they are enforcing policies dictated to them by
management.

Ask you administrator if it is allowed. If it is, then request that the
admin restore access to that option.
