Disabling outlook to a particular domain?

Hi,

My wife works for a school district thta has a network of macs using
Outlook (don't know what version, but odds are it's not the latest...)

They have a very restrictive set of filters on their internet access,
she cannot go to any website that has a fill-in box (just to give you
an idea of the hyper-sensitivity of the IT folks).

I have a blackberry and can email her A-OK. However, if she sends it to
me at, say, "(E-Mail Removed)" it never gets to me and it never
is reported that it wasn't delivered.

I have to have her to reply to my web-based email service (that MY
employer blocks for compliance reasons), so a typical email exchange
goes like this: my blackberry --> school email account --> web based
email account --> forward to blackberry.

This takes a while for the forwarding to happen, so email exchanges can
take a while which is frustrating.

She is also a little paranoid that because she, shal we say, speaks her
mind, that she is on some sort of 'black list'

So, having said all that, is there a filter to restrict emails to a
certain domain (like all at vzw.blackberry.net)? If so, why no error or
return of the email?

If so, how do you get it unblocked?

Thansk and sorry if I was too wordy.

I don't think school district IT people are that malevolent, in general.

Not to say there is, but if there were something blocking, it wouldn't
surprise me if there's no error or bounce. Why waste the bandwidth?

I'm not sure if its the IT or the higher ups, there is a sort of "we
like you" or "we don't like you" mentality. It just seems strange that
she consistently cannot send email to the vzw.blackberry.net domain,
and never receives and error message.
