Disabling IE Plugins

Installed on my computer is an application (Vis Mockup) for opening tif/tiff
files. When I click on these type of files in IE, some plugin activates to
open the files within the IE window.
I prefer to have the files open in a separate application window. How do I
disable the plugin from activating each time?
I want to do the same thing with Acrobat plugin.

Hi,
A google search turned up no indication that Vis Mockup was an application
to open TIFF files. Sorry, can't help with that. Are you sure that's the
program?

For Adobe Reader... open Adobe Reader> Edit> Preferences> Internet> uncheck
"Display PDF in browser."

You should find them in IE>tools>general>view objects. You can delete them
in this.
