Disabling default login in 98

Greetings,

I have a 98 machine that I want to use as a network client. I have
"Windows Login" as the "Primary Network Login". When the computer
boots up, it does so in a default user mode, which does not allow me to
access the Windows network. So, I have to log out, and log back in
with a user name.

I have looked everywhere, and cannot figure this out. How do I disable
the default login, or set the default login to a specific user, so when
the system boots up, I can go right into my network shares?
Thanks,
Brian

I don't have 98 in front of me but you could go to control panel/
network and look for the list of protocols and services. There might be
an alternative client to windows login.

Post the answer here when you find it so that I can use it.

That was it! Thanks. The AutoLogin value was set.
