Is it possible to disable the automatic install of
hardware/drivers at boot-up ? I am trying to install new
drivers for my Matrox Mystique card and when I uninstall
the old drivers and reboot, by the time I get into windows
xp pro, it has already installed Mystique drivers (which
are old). I want to be able to boot into windows without
it automatically installing the mystique drivers.

Hi,

I also use Matrox card. It is not necessary to remove the
old matrox drivers to install the new drivers. Just
install the new downloaded matrox drivers and it will
replace the old drivers.
