Is there a way to disable the security alert balloon. I know I have turned
off the firewall. I did that on purpose. So I do not want this annoying
balloon all the time.

Thanks,
Ken

Hi

Control Panel/Security Center, click on the "Change the Way Security
Center Notifies Me" link in the left pane.

I've done that, I've also modified the netfw.inf according to the
WFING_Guide from MS but I still get the alert. I just ordered a new AMD 64
CPU/motherboard and will do a clean install from a SP2 slipstreamed CD so
I'm not too worried about it at the moment. However, any ideas in case in
happens in the new install?

Dave
