Hey was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how to fix this problem,

I can no longer see my desktop icons anymore nor can i even use the right
click function on my desktop. I can use my right click on the start menu,
task bar and basically everywhere else. I also cannot open my computer,
control panel or anyother system icons in the start menu. To open these I
have to go to run in the start menu and type control panel or whatever I am
after. PLEASE help me as it is driving me insane

What do you mean by "I can't"? What happens, specifically, when you try to
do these things? What changed between the time tings worked and now?

I had a virus a while ago (Trojan Horse that was called Peacom) but norton antivirus cleared that up no problems what so ever.
