Hi Sir,

I am always getting the Yahoo Messenger window (on the monitor) as soon as
my system(computer) gets booted.

wnen I click the close button on the Yahoo Messenger Window,it will ask for
a confirmation by showing a message box.

If I click the yes button, the Yahoo Messanger Window will be closed.

Whenever my system(the operating system) gets booted, Yahoo messenger window
should not be displayed on the monitor screen.

Where I have to do the settings for this not to be displayed the Yahoo
Messenger window, as soon as the system gets booted?

Can anybody help me with the proper steps to be done for this?

If when opening Yahoo Messenger you do not see in Properties or Options a
check mark somewhere in there that says "start program at Windows Startup"
do this below:

go into explore, go into Documents and Settings
Click on All Users
Start menu
Scroll down till you see the Statup folder and click on that
look in there and see if Yahoo Messenger is in there
If so cut the icon out and stick it in your Accessories folder (I never like
to delete those in this folder- just in case there is a problem you can
always put it back)
Do the same thing for your User Folder- see if it is in there too

If it is not there then
you can go into Run- type msconfig
Click on the Startup Tab
uncheck the box that is for Yahoo Messenger
It will ask for a reboot
this should stop it from starting up when you boot.
When windows starts up you will see a box popup that says you are using the
utility tool
Put a check mark where it says "Do not show this again" and say OK
Then this box will not appear when you boot up again

How To Stop Yahoo Messager From Starting When Starting Windows System Start
up Log off of Yahoo Messager You will have 1.Remember my Yahoo ID & Password
2. Sign In Automatically (Unmark This one) then Log in and log out this will
stop your system from logging in when your system starts up
