How to disable Windows Update for WindowsDefender signature?

How do I disable Windows Update for WindowsDefender signatures? I have
disabled WindowsDefender but the signature update keeps nagging me! I have
Windows 7 so I guess i cannot uninstall it completly?

How did you disable Windows Defender? If you start the program, and go to
Options, and scroll down, and set "do not use..." that should both correctly
disable the program and end any definition downloads.
