How do I disable the feature that turns my into a smiley icon in Outlook

outlook doesn't do that with icons - do you have hotbar or some other addin
installed?

Outlook's autocorrect can change the into a typed smiley character - it’s
the same size and color as your text and is not an icon.

Hi Diane,
Thanks for the response. I mis-spoke. I did mean the typed smiley character
and NOT an icon. I assume I can disable that, correct?
