Hi,

I'd like to be able to disable simple file sharing on Windows XP computers
thru a group policy. I've done a lot of research on this and there's no
built in group policy so the only other choice is to create an Administrative
Template. I've found the following link:

I tried it and it doesn't work. It creates the Custom Template but it's
blank.

I'm running Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP sp2. I've also tried it on
my own machine in the local Group Policy. same thing.

Yes there is, it's setting 117 on the "Security Settings WinXP; WS2003" tab
in the Reference:
