I am troubleshooting a server built and "fixed" before I started working here. Of course my predecessor isn't here any more so I can't ask questions
It was originally Windows 2000 Server with SP4 and Citrix Metaframe XP SP3 FR2. I've upgraded it to Citrix Metaframe SP3 FR3
apparently they were having difficulty with local client printing for users. It could hang or seriously slow down the terminal server
Given the printing problem, my predecessor disabled printing for the remote client. It will not even attempt to map the local printers even if the client has local or network printers setup. I've tried this with both the Citrix and the remote desktop connection software
On a test box, this works fine with both terminal services clients but not on our production box
I've looked everywhere and can't find how he did this. Any suggestions how to re-enable the printing is appreciated
I've checked the feature release of citrix, looked everywhere in Windows 2000 I can think of, and looked throughout the citrix management console.
