When I click on a PPT in the IE 5.5, the Powerpoint Viewer
is launched. I want to start PowerPoint instead. How can I
do that ?

Try this.

Find a presentation on your hard drive, right-click on it
and choose OPEN WITH, CHOOSE PROGRAM. Find powerpoint.exe
or MS powerpoint for windows and make sure to check the
box that says "Always use the selected program..."
