In WMM I get an error message saying the device is in use when I try to
capture tv or SVideo. ( I want to edit old home movies from VHS and Hi8, and
ultimately burn them to DVD).

On the official WMM FAQ site
(http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...er/21/faq.mspx) there is a
suggestion to disable the Media Center Receiver Service, and restarting. I
have tried this but WMM still tells me the device is in use.

My machine is a MT1400
Have you got any ideas what else I could try? Thanx...
