How to disable local AV checking with NAV 2003?

Hi

I'm using Systemworks 2003 and I'm getting a bit annoyed at the extended
time it takes to open Word documents or move files in Explorer due to NAV
checking each one as it goes. However I *do* want to make sure that anything
I download from the Web is checked as a matter of course. Is it possible to
disable the automatic checking of local files while still checking anything
that I download?

Also, does it matter which method I use to download stuff? If I d/l
something using a d/l manager (e.g. Teleport Pro), is it still checked for
viruses?

Cheers

Go to NAV Options/miscellaneous uncheck "enable office plugin".
