Hi - I have a new Dell laptop with both a touchpad mouse and a keyboard
joystick mouse. It seems the joystick mouse is constantly being hit by my
wifes fast moving fingers and consequently the curser is being moved to
different sections of the document or email she is working on. Is there a
way in Win XP to disable the joystick mouse and use only the touchpad mouse?

Problem solved. I had to download a new mouse driver from Dell and then the
option to disable the "tracking stick" showed up in the Mouse properties box
in control panel.
