I have never experienced that problem and I don't believe that you can disable IFXR.
You might try shortening the default refresh interval in the SOA for each zone to be
less than 15 minutes and add the secondary to the "notify" list for each zone. You
may also want to post in the win2000.dns newsgroups as there are some really helpful
and knowledgeable people about dns there . --- Steve
