I am currently attempting to put a proxy-ish type of
solution on our network, but I need to disable the option
in IE that is "Automatically detect proxy settings." If
this option is checked, the client can bypass my solution
and have unfiltered internet access.

Any suggestions would be wonderful!

You should be able to keep users out of Proxy setings or the entire
Connections tab.
