Disable hyperlink auto format

I am using Excel 2003. Everytime I copy a text format e-mail address from a
cel, it automatically turns it into a hyperlink. How can i disable this
feature?

Tools>AutoCorrect Options>Autoformat as you type.

Uncheck the "replace as you type" option.
