Change the default messages view;
View-> Current View-> Define Views...-> select Messages-> button Modify...->
button Other Settings...
To make sure all the folders are still in the default messages view, start
Outlook with the cleanviews switch;
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /cleanviews
(note the space in the command)
