is there a way to permanently disable group policy login scripts so
that windows does not look for them and or that they are not run ?

If this is on just one PC, use gpedit.msc and delete the scripts from the
windows settings.

If you're in a domain, you may want to speak to your network administrator.

There aren't any listed and I am NOT on a domain but for some reason
Windows hangs during login thinking its supposed to run login scripts.
