We are running Windows 2000 service pack 4.
The people on the domain all have their home folders redirected when they
logon. This is done from their Profile tab within their Active Directory
Properties.

We are running our scheduling and billing application through Terminal
Services which is located at another site.

The problem is, when they logon to the application through TS, it seems to
map a drive back to their home folder, which in turn drags down the system. I
know this because if I disable their home folder redirect, the application
speed is not dragged down.

Is there any way, to keep the folder redirection when they logon to the
domain from their local machine, but disable folder redirection from their TS
logon?

Regards,

Yes. Create a TS-specific GPO, with Folder redirection disabled.
Link the GPO to the OU that contains the TS (and only the TS, not
the user accounts).
Use loopback processing of the policy, with the Replace option.
