Disable CTRL+ENTER

I'm constantly finding that I'm accidentally pressing CTRL+ENTER and
sending messages by accident. It's fine if there's a typo in the
message, as the SpellCheck stops the send, but as I'm a touch typist I
tend to revise spelling as I go along.

I found this:

http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2006/20060118.htm

but it doesn't seem to work. Two questions:

1. I don't have Word 2003 installed - only Outlook 2003. Do I still
need to add the registry key for Word?

2. Have I got the format of the key correct?

It's called

"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook
\DisabledShortcutKeysCheckBoxes"

NAME = CtrlEnter
TYPE = REG_SZ
VALUE = 13,8

TIA

Edward

You need to create both keys as intructed in the article.

Or use Group Policies;
http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/policies.htm

You can disable it there in Disable items in user interface-> Predifined->
Disable shortcut keys

Thanks, Robert. I added the extra key but it didn't work. I don't
really have access to Group Policies as I'm only a lowly hacker.

o well.
