Hello everybody,

I have a little question, please help me. Can I disable Copy/paste of the
clipboard between Client and TS Server, but still allow this on the server
only ?

For example, if I hire someone to work from remote distance on my software
project as programmer, I will
install everything for him on a Terminal Server, but disable file copy
between Client & Server,
and the clipboard, I don't know if I can juste allow on the server only . I
want to protect the source code of my project, do you think this is doable ?
Any suggestion else ?

Thanks very much and have a nice weekend

ThomasT.

Follow-Up set to microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services

Sure you can do this. In Terminal services Configuration - rdp-tcp
connection properties - Client Settings, check the box for "Disable
the following: Clipboard mapping".

Using Notepad as an example, the users will not be able to copy
text from an instance of Notepad on the server to an instance of
Notepad on the client, but they will be able to copy text between 2
instances of Notepad on the Terminal Server.

Note that if the user redirects his local drives to the TS session,
he will still be able to copy files from the TS to his local drive,
so you will want to disable drive redirection as well.
