Hi,

I am looking for a way to stop Outlook using the caching when users use some
hotdesk PC's. I would like to be able to have the cached setting work as
usual on their own laptps, PC's but not on the hotdeks machines.

Is there a way of doing this?

I have tried playing with the outlook admin tamplated an group policy but no
joy.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Darrel

are you using roaming profiles? if so, AFAIK, you can't have different
settings for different machines.

How about 2 profiles - one for caching, one for use on hotdesk. Create a
shortcut for the user, using the /profile switch to set the hotdesk profile.
The profiles can be identical with the exception of caching - copy the
current profile, remove caching from it and name it hotdesk. User just has
to remember to pick the hotdesk profile when using the hotdesk.
