I have a lot of windows XP SP2 users and I want to stop them adding new
wireless networks from the 'View Wireless Networks' Window.

Is there any GPO or registry edit that can do this ?

many thanks

Why do you want them to do this? Assuming that your users have laptop
computers, isn't there an expectation that they'll use them while traveling?
In this case, you _want_ them to connect to public wireless networks so that
they can check their email and otherwise work extra hours for free.

Steve

This is a security policy requirement. Do you or anyone else in MSFT know if
this is indeed possible, with wondows xp sp2 (or 3)

many thanks

Wireless group policy for Vista allows you to control which networks a
client will connect to, but this feature isn't available on wireless group
policy for Windows XP (SP2 or SP3).

Please contact me privately by email. I'd like to learn more about your
security requirement.
