How do I disable the balloon that says "Add your .NET
Passport to Windows XP" without registering an email
address with .NET Passport?

Greetings Scott,

To correct this, first close down Windows Messenger (right-click the Messenger icon in the
notification area/system tray and choose Exit), then download and run this .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/dow...balloonoff.reg

Then you can restart Windows Messenger, and the balloon will no longer appear.
