What is the latest version of DirectX I should be running with XP Pro/SP3.

I'm currently running 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

I'm running an NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT video card also

Does Windows Update offer a newer or updated version?

9.0c is the latest recommendation for XP. There is a 10.x, but it is for
Vista and I think win7,.

9 is latest for XP, 10 -> Vista, and 11 is out on Windows 7.
