DirectX refreshing frecuency

I have some problems with my games, the refreshing
frecuency of my monitor (KDS VS-7i) changes when i go
some "low" resulutions, like 640x480x32 and 800x600x32,
then i tried to modify it in the DxDiag, but the problem
continued.This occurs only with some programs but the PC
main res. is OK;
What can i do to solve this problem. I can't run some
applications that have established this resolutions, and
also some games.
I think this is not a problem of the Monitor nor the video
card but Windows Direct X.
