so i just upgraded my memory from 512 to 1gb. *everything is okay with 512*
after upgrading, i noticed that i can not play any games, videos anything to
do with video.
so i reformatted everything, updated to directx 9 and updated to SP2.
*each time i go to dxdiag and to run the direct 3d test*
everything was fine, so i downloaded the rest of the updates and that is
where my problem started again. after updating to the latest, i go back in to
dxdiag and run the direct 3d test. then it makes a sound and freezes my
screen. i can't do anything (no alt-tab or alt-ctrl-del).
i'm not sure if the updates corrupted my file or not
*have updated all my video drivers, bios*
is it a directx problem? any help will be most appreciated. Thanks in
advance.
