Try updating DirectX to 9.0c. Go to
www.microsoft.com/directx and
download and install it. Then see if that option is there. If not, try
updating your ATI Drivers (which I doubt will fix it in this case, but
it's worth a shot) from
www.ati.com and click on the drivers in the
bottom left. Finally, right click on the desktop, click properties,
click Settings Tab, click Advanced, click Troubleshoot and make sure
Hardware Accceleration is set to full and enable write combining. If
none of that fixes it, post back
