directx deleted my D drive

's Computer Specifications

Hey,
I just downloaded and installed directx9b on my laptop
and now i cannot locate my CD drive, any thoughts on how
to fix?

Trace, rt click on MyComputer>Select Properties>Hardware>Device
Manager. Select DVD/CDRom Drives and uninstall your cdrom drive. rt click
and choose uninstall. Let WinXP reinstall the Drive. Also, take a look here
if no Icon in
My Computer.
