Directx 9.0b causes error to tv-tuner pal version

After installing DirectX 9.0b my tv-tuner lost the input
connector from the cabel-tv.
I've read from several newsgroups, that this has happened
to other people too.
Are there any way to reinstall 9.0a og will there be an
update in the near future?
