You're using the web-base newsgroup interface, so you'll need to do a Search
from the page. Just put in DirectX, and it should give you a listing of the
newsgroups. You'll need one of the ones in the microsoft.public.directx
list.
If you care to use a news reader (much easier, no logon, no passwords and
available to everyone around the world), just set up a news account for the
msnews.microsoft.com server. It will download all the newsgroup names for
you and the search is really easy. You can do all kinds of things in a news
reader, including hiding all the already read messages. There's guidance in
Outlook Express' Help section, as well as other readers.
