directx 10 and video cards

hello i have the 7950 gtx card and vista ultimate. will i be able to run
direct x 10? or do u have to have the 8800 gtx?

You can run DX10, but you won't get the full benefits of DX10 games. DX10
(and most games) fall back to the DX9 calls when running with DX9 hardware.
But, Vista will run DX10 regardless.

8800 series, right now, are the only ones that can use DX10 games (Where are
they again!?)
