Hi!,

We i try to publish a printer in AD on one of my two print server, i got
this message :"The directory operation is still in progress".

It make it only for the new printer i try to publish. The printer still
there are ok.

I don't have any problem on my other print server.

I've search on Internet but all i found is this KB:

It refer to the config of the DNS but it works on my other print server so i
don't think it's my DNS.

Can someone have any idea?

I have the similar problems also.
One of the printer was published correctly in the AD before, but now it
has that error message also.

The alternative fix is to browse the printer either by typing:
\\servername\printers and faxes in your RUN,
then you should be able to see all the printers, then double-click on
the one that u want to connect.

Hope someone knows the fix.

Check the event log on the domain controller for any printer publishing
operation errors.
