How do I get the perms correct for directory browsing in front page? I am
hosted through godaddy and when the extensions are not installed everything
is fine. They of course say call MS!

I have a folder with movies in it, I just want to share this folder to the
world.

Make sure directory browsing is allowed.
Make sure there is "Not" a default html document in the folder such as index.htm or
default.htm

Is there a setting in Front page to allow directory browsing? Godaddy says
that Front page manages these permissions? How can that be true? Doesnt it
have to be setup in IIS as well?

You will have to have your host allow directory browsing for your domain.
Or, if you have a web masters CPanel you can set it there.
