After a mistake, I loose all right on a directory, do you know a solution or
a freeware to reetablish modification, write, ... permission ?

Well, I guess your system isn't important enough to pay for what you get.
When are we going to learn that software is not written in a vacuum? We pay
for what we get, the idea is to get the best bang for the buck, not get
banged because we don't want to spend a buck.
