Hi..

Im running XP Home on a p4/1024MB Ram with an ATI Radeon X800 XT PE with the
latest Catalyst (5.3) drivers from ATI.

Everything was working fine until recently but now something seems to have
gone wrong with directx and DXDiag says that DirectDraw, Direct3d and AGP
texture acceleration are Not Available..

Ive followed the steps listed for this KB Article;

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;191660

And although it hasnt fixed the problem it seems to have highlighted it....

When i try to disable write combining an error pops up saying;

Unexpected error: The new settings could not be saved to registry.

So it seems i have a registry issue... Does anyone know what registry keys i
need to look at for Hardware acceleration??? as this seems to be the problem..

Help..

Damon Randall
