To improve the operation of my DVD sotware I have been
advised to download the latest version of Direct X. At
home I only have 56k dial up internet, this will take
11hours!!!! & my provider disconnects every 2hours
At work I have highe speed internet, but it is not
possible to download updates to intall on another machine.
How the hell am I suposed to get the update?

I'd just pack up your home computer and take it to
work. Connect to the hi-speed connection and download
away.
