Hello,

I Use the Flyvideo 2000 PCI TV Tuner Card. It is also
named as LR 138 (Revision F). The Website Address is
http://www.lifeview.com.tw. It is based on the Philips
SAA7130HL Chip. It has AV In, S-Video In, Audio Out and
Cable TV In.

I Use Windows XP Professional, with the latest Windows
Updates. Yesterday, I installed Direct X 9.0b update,
from the Windows Update Page. After Installation, the "TV
Tuner" Portion in the Device Manager, dissappeared. All
that was present was "Lifeview Flyvideo WDM Video
Capture" (Version 1.3.2040.0 dated 20.06.2002). Another
entry for TV Tuner, "Lifeview Flyvideo WDM TV Tuner"
(Version 2.0.1.2042 dated 17.07.2002) vanished.

Atfirst I thought that it was only a driver related
problem. I downloaded the latest drivers (Version 20.53
dated 19-05-2003) from the website and installed it.

Now I have both the entries namely, "Lifeview FlyTV Prime
30" (Version 2.3.0.19 dated 08-07-2003) and "Lifeview WDM
TV Tuner" (Version 2.3.0.19 dated 08-07-2003).

However, if I try to invoke the installed application for
viewing the Cable/TV channels, I get the following error
message:

Can't get Device!

1. What is the problem?
2. What Is The Solution?
3. I'm also not able to capture because, the application
does not even open. I have not tried capturing through
the S-Video/AV In option. All I have is Cable Tv attached
to the Tuner card.
4. My Required driver file details are given below:

34api.dll - 1.3.0.0

hey, i found the elusive "lvtuner.sys" file. its bundled with the "FlyTV
Prime Series" download for Analog TV play.

go to http://www.lifeview.com; Select "download drivers"; select the
FlyTV Prime Series" link, and have fun with your TV viewing.
