I'm trying to transfer data from my old computer (Win 2000 Pro) to a new one
(Win XP Pro). I have them connected via a Direct Connection on LPT1 - the
old one is the Host and the new one the Client. I am able to connect the 2
computers. But, I haven't been able to copy the files between the computers.

I've tried mapping a network drive and it can't find the computer. I've
done lots of searches and can't find any help on this.

I found info on the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard. But, I don't have a
floppy drive on the new computer and I don't have the XP CD.

How do I see/copy the files from my old computer?

Thanks!

any errors you get while trying to copy. you said you are able to connect
does it mean that there are no connectivity problems
