JOB DESCRIPTION:
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Monitoring and supporting team member activites
• Coordinating product development with product technical manager
• Working directly with customers to gather requirements and perform
product reviews
• Support all phases of the product life cycle
• All team members are responsible for quality and efficient software
development; unit testing of all items in your area of responsibility;
producing appropriate system documentation; timely and efficient
resolution of identified defects; and the ability to transfers
knowledge to fellow team members and appropriate stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the
knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Bachelors
• Nine years of software development life cycle experience
• Seven years Microsoft .Net development experience (including Visual
Studio 2008, ASP.NET, VB .NET, Java Script, HTML)
• Five years Oracle experience with ability to design database
objects, create procedures, functions, triggers, packages
• Five years experience writing software development life cycle
documentation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated individual with ability to execute tasks on schedule
• Must be able to obtain and hold a Position of Trust designation
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential
consideration:
• Exposure to accessibility standards (Section 508) in web
development
• Experience with Quest SQL Navigator and Telerik Controls
• Previous experience working with federal government systems
• Ability to understand the make up of a complete integrated solution
including Network, Server, Database, Application, Workstation, and
user components
