The Networking Wizard setup only shows COM and LPT as possible cable
connections. Is there a way to use the Ethernet port with a rollover cable
using Windows Networking? I am using W2K (host) on one machine and W-XP Pro
(guest) on the other or do I need a third party program?

yes, you can use crossover cable.
