When I check my Direct #D drive...it states that
functionality not available.

I need this to be enabled to play 3D games. How do I get
this installed? I have installed DirectX updgrade, etc.

Are you checking what DXDiag shows? Make certain it shows it in there. If
not then your video driver doesn't support it. What type of video card and
driver are you using?
