direct 3d device error

" could not find any compatible direct 3d devices " That
is the error message I receive when starting any screen
saver.

Right-click on your desktop and select:
Properties > Settings > Advanced > Troubleshoot
and move the Hardware Acceleration slider to "Full",
then click "Apply".

Afterward, right-click on your Desktop and select:
Properties > Setting and adjust your Screen Resolution
settings, then select "Highest (32 bit) Color Quality setting,
and click "apply".

They were already at their default settings.
