I have a system that recently started producing the Windows XP Ding.wav
(listed as default beep in sounds, this is the low pitched bonk sound) 5
times at startup. Other than that all seems fine. How can I track down why
this happening?
Thanks,
C'ed

At or near the top of the list: Scan for viruses and spyware.

Nope, completely clean, and always has been. Fully protected, patched and up
to date.
